Holiday Party: Teal’s Express at Radisson Hotel-Utica Centre, 12/13/14

When you see all the headlines about cutbacks and closings, it’s a breath of fresh air when you hear about a company that’s doing well and sharing its success with its employees.  The Teal’s Express trucking company hosted a wonderful holiday party for its employees earlier this month.  Bringing in employees from multiple locations across upstate New York, the party managed to fill the entire Garden Grille Restaurant space inside the Radisson Hotel Utica Centre. Wedding Season 2014 is closed out! Now booking for 2015

Thanks to all of my wonderful customers, I am officially declaring the 2014 wedding season as “closed” for any further bookings!  At this point, I am now accepting inquiries only for 2014 holiday parties and for 2015 weddings.  It’s a wonderful, humbling feeling to make this announcement — and it also doubles as good advice for couples who are just starting to plan their wedding day. Now that winter is (hopefully) finished, my calendar is pretty busy over the next several weeks!  Following the success of an open house in December, I was honored to be asked back to the Children’s Consortium in Syracuse to DJ their Family Fun Fair.  Although it was chilly for late April, it was sunny and dry, and we had plenty of fun! Upcoming Public Appearances

Normally, it’s not possible for prospective customers to “preview” my work because most of the events I play are private, closed events.  But there are two upcoming events where you can see me and my DJ gear in action.  Both events are happening in the Syracuse area — one in April, and one in May. A couple years ago, I did a video voiceover for the Children’s Consortium of Syracuse, and they asked me back to DJ their holiday open house.  It was a little over two hours of Christmas tunes, designed to appeal to both the kids and the parents in attendance. [ More » ]

Questioning My Relatively Low Pricing?

Many books or websites that offer advice on planning weddings or other large gatherings echo the same advice: you get what you pay for.  They say that you should expect to pay a lot for a “good” DJ, as those offering really low prices usually aren’t that good.  In many cases that’s correct.  But here are few of the reasons I’m able to provide a quality presentation without charging as much as some of the other DJs out there.
