I always love adding new places to the list of venues where I've performed -- so I really enjoyed spinning tunes and acting as emcee for Megan and Steve's wedding reception at The Farmers' Museum in Cooperstown. A museum at a wedding? Yeah, it's true! Sure, not every museum out there is ideal for a wedding, but the Farmers' Museum offers a wonderful setting -- plenty of space indoors and out. You'll see in the photos, so keep reading!
Although Megan and Steve now live out-of-state, they have family in the area, so they took advantage of the opportunity to meet with me in-person during their visits "back home." (If you haven't done much looking around the site yet, I include up to two of these "planning meetings" in my regular rates.) In between the appointments, we were able to update each other on the evening's plans via email.

Before I segue to my photos, I've gotta stress that I'm a DJ, not a pro photographer. Having misplaced my "real" camera a few weeks earlier, I only had my phone available. So, while I hope you enjoy my photos, you'll definitely love checking out professional shooter Janelle Rodriguez' blog post from the day. And, there was video, too! Blue Water Studio posted a brief excerpt of their footage. Both of the camera teams were wonderful to work with, and the food was amazing as well!

Peter was absolutely AMAZING at our wedding! I was so worried that people weren't going to get up and dance, but everyone was up having a great time - even my father was out on the dance floor and no one ever thought we would see that! I HIGHLY recommend Peter Naughton to anyone! He was extremely easy to work with and even dealt with a few very last minute song changes the day of the wedding. People are still telling us that the music was awesome and that our wedding was one of the greatest they had ever been to. We have Peter to thank for much of that!
